Driving Programs Tailored to Your Life Stage
Whether you are a teenager eager for independence, a parent seeking peace of mind, or a newcomer navigating Montréal traffic, City Driving School offers SAAQ-certified instruction customized to your exact needs.

SAAQ Driving Lessons for Teens & Young Adults
Today's roads have twice the traffic and modern distractions compared to when your parents learned to drive. Our mandatory SAAQ-certified Road Safety Education program is built for high school and university students.
- Flexible Scheduling: Classes designed to fit around your school and work itinerary.
- Distraction Management: Specialized training to handle modern in-car technologies.
- Proactive Safety: We teach advanced risk management, not just basic steering and braking.
From the classroom to heavy Montréal traffic, we bring to life the meaning of proactive, defensive driving.
Learner-Accompanying Program for Parents
A first driver's licence is a rite of passage. It is a time when a new generation of drivers needs to be educated on how to mature into responsible adults. According to recent surveys, parents are most worried about their teens driving without supervision.
- Parent Participation: Our exclusive program helps you and your teenager achieve a common goal safely.
- Accompanying Driver Theory: A dedicated module giving you valuable advice for making your practice journeys pleasant.
- Parent Retraining: Optional on-road evaluations to update your own skills and become the perfect role model.
We strive to give you the peace of mind you seek. City Driving School’s greatest honour is you entrusting your child’s safety to our conscientious, qualified instructors.

Driving Classes for Nervous Adult Learners
Sometimes the motivation to learn how to drive comes from a new and important change in your life. This necessity may also create anxiety. City Driving School's experienced and patient staff is best qualified to put you at ease.
Because of your concerns, we work together with learners on confidence-building techniques. One step at a time, because now is the right time. Before long, you are inspired, driving in complex situations, and self-assured in your ability to handle the vehicle.
"This once nervous new mom is much more confident driving and transporting her precious passenger after lessons at City Driving School."
In your life, now, you are in a new place. A good place, because it's the right time.
Worried About an Aging Loved One Behind the Wheel?
Perhaps you have noticed "telltale" signs that are causes for concern. Should an ageing loved one abandon driving?
By understanding a senior's needs and desire for normalcy in life, how do you approach a sensitive topic as this? How can you remain objective as to whether their daily affairs need to be micro-managed if their mobility becomes limited?
We consult with occupational therapists to help map out a mobility action plan.
City Driving School's experienced teaching staff can objectively help you assess a loved one's driving. We can recommend remedial action as well as a proactive one.

SAAQ Driving Evaluations for Seniors
It’s no secret that this generation is living longer, healthier, and better than ever! Seniors are productive and want to keep their independence. However, if you or a loved one are experiencing "telltale" signs of changing mobility, a senior driver may need to be reassessed.
Objective Evaluations & OT Consultations
By understanding a senior's desire for normalcy, we help families approach this sensitive topic objectively. We work with Québec certified occupational therapists (OT) to map out a proactive mobility action plan.
SAAQ Medical Service Support
If you are experiencing this stressful time, we are pleased to set up a meeting. Have an OT contact us to keep us current on your file with the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec's "Service de l'évaluation médicale".
We use multi-channel digital video recorders (DVR) during evaluations so videos can be reviewed by health professionals. We are just a phone call away to help you maintain your mobility safely.
SAAQ Driving Evaluations for Seniors
We help seniors maintain their independence safely. If you or an aging loved one requires a medical reassessment, we provide objective, respectful on-road evaluations.
